Define the approval question
A blended-sludge purchase needs a stated blend range. Buying from a single favorable primary-rich sample can leave the plant with an unsuitable grade when waste activated sludge becomes a larger share of normal dewatering feed.
Identify the product code, representative sludge and operating constraint before requesting a commercial commitment.
State how the blend changes
Identify the sources, normal and difficult ratios, solids and any thickening or storage steps before the feeds meet. Record whether the ratio is measured or estimated. The municipal sludge guide explains why source identity remains important.
Where blend measurement is uncertain, retain separate representative operating states rather than claiming a precise ratio that the site cannot verify.
Compare response across the range
Use the same grade set, activation method and active-dose basis on the selected feed states. Include the incumbent and preserve failed dose points. A medium-charge candidate may be useful in one state, but its label does not establish coverage of every blend.
Connect the screen to medium-charge trial criteria and adjacent profiles where the results justify a broader comparison.
Choose a controllable supply plan
Decide whether one grade has an adequate operating window or whether materially different feeds need a separately reviewed approach. Include actual chemical storage, switching and operator capacity before proposing multiple routine grades.
A procurement decision should not depend on frequent manual product changes the site cannot trace. Set triggers for adjustment or renewed screening using measurable feed and output conditions.
Challenge a favorable comparison
If the candidate is tested on a primary-rich morning feed and the incumbent on a biological-rich afternoon feed, the observed difference cannot be assigned confidently to polymer. Repeat comparable windows before awarding a claimed lower-dose replacement.
Record the unresolved boundary with the trial result. An expected operating benefit is not a measured saving or an unrestricted product guarantee.
Keep the acceptance record
| Buying check | Evidence | Acceptance limit |
|---|---|---|
| Blend | Source and variation record | Test covers routine range |
| Comparison | Same preparation and dose basis | Feed drift not hidden |
| Control | Grade strategy and trigger | Operators can maintain it |
Retain sample identity, measured preparation conditions and synchronized feed and outlet results. Use the record to distinguish an agreed product change from a change in sludge or equipment.
Prepare the supplier brief
Send source and blend records, solids, current grade, separator and the operating states that cause instability. Ask for a recommendation with the tested blend range, not an unqualified universal sludge claim.
Send the evidence through the cationic emulsion sample and RFQ form. Confirm the offered code, availability, packaging and document scope with Gongyi Xinqi Polymer Co., Ltd. before ordering.
