Cationic Emulsion Plant-Trial Quantity: How Much Should Buyers Order?

Scope cationic emulsion trial quantities from dry-solids loading, declared active fraction, stabilization time, test points and prepared-solution inventory.

01+

Define the approval question

A sample quantity should support the intended decision without leaving excessive unqualified stock. A small bottle may be enough for a bench screen, but a machine trial needs a documented consumption estimate and time to distinguish the candidate from residual incumbent solution.

Identify the product code, representative sludge and operating constraint before requesting a commercial commitment.

02+

Calculate the actual trial demand

Use anticipated dry-solids throughput, the proposed active-dose range and the declared product active fraction. The active-dose guide supplies the calculation basis. Convert to commercial mass and only then to volume if a supported density is available.

Separate expected operating consumption from package heel, sampling, startup and reasonable trial contingency. Do not hide uncertain losses inside the claimed technical dose.

03+

Allow enough stable comparison time

List the baseline, candidate dose points, repeats and difficult-feed windows. Include activation and process residence so the first outlet sample is not assigned to the wrong product. Identify where a scheduled shutdown limits the amount of useful test time.

The quantity should enable meaningful measurements, not merely empty one drum. Agree the trial sequence with operations before arranging freight or supplier attendance.

04+

Match order size to qualification stage

For an untested grade, keep a bench screen before a larger machine allocation where practical. Connect each package to the candidate code and avoid pooling unapproved remnants. Review storage conditions and turnover for any unused trial stock.

Keep the incumbent recovery route available. A trial that consumes all approved inventory before demonstrating an acceptable alternative creates an avoidable purchasing dependency.

05+

Challenge a favorable comparison

An order calculated only from one hour at the proposed optimum may run out before the system stabilizes and repeat measurements are taken. Conversely, a full routine shipment can be excessive when the only authorized decision is an initial screen.

Record the unresolved boundary with the trial result. An expected operating benefit is not a measured saving or an unrestricted product guarantee.

Keep the acceptance record

Retain sample identity, measured preparation conditions and synchronized feed and outlet results. Use the record to distinguish an agreed product change from a change in sludge or equipment.

Prepare the supplier brief

Provide planned trial hours, sludge loading, incumbent active dose, preparation-system volume, intended dose points and sample destination. Ask for the offered package size and confirm any remaining quantity limitation before shipping.

Send the evidence through the cationic emulsion sample and RFQ form. Confirm the offered code, availability, packaging and document scope with Gongyi Xinqi Polymer Co., Ltd. before ordering.
